On the afternoon of September 1, 2015, Premier Li Keqiang met at the Great Hall of the People with President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan, who was in China for a state visit as well as the attendance of the commemorations marking the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression as well as the World Anti-fascist War.

Li Keqiang noted that the China-Kazakhstan comprehensive strategic partnership has entered a new development stage. President Xi Jinping held a successful talk with you yesterday, reaching fruitful results. China is willing to, together with Kazakhstan, constantly expand trade exchanges, actively enhance financial cooperation, continuously intensify people-to-people and cultural exchanges, and boost coordination and cooperation in international and regional affairs, so as to constantly advance China-Kazakhstan relations in an all-round manner.

Li Keqiang pointed out that China and Kazakhstan have agreed on multiple projects since they reached consensus on carrying forward large-scale production capacity cooperation over half a year ago. It is hoped that the two sides could implement the projects the two sides have already agreed on, make full use of supporting role of all investment and financing platforms, and better facilitate the personnel exchanges between the two nations, so as to bring the regional and global exemplary role of China-Kazakhstan production capacity cooperation into full play, which will also be conducive to better coping with the current complex situation confronted with global economy.

Nursultan Nazarbayev expressed that Kazakhstan-China comprehensive strategic partnership is undergoing an in-depth development, with the bilateral practical cooperation with the production capacity cooperation as a symbol entering a new stage. Kazakhstan is willing to, together with China, earnestly implement the grand vision of production capacity cooperation, promote more diversified bilateral trade, strengthen connectivity construction, and build the new Eurasian Continental Bridge, so as to open up the new era for the development of Kazakhstan-China relationship.
