|Yang Jiechi Meets with Minister for Foreign Affairs Anders Samuelsen of Denmark|
On June 20, 2018, Member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and Director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the CPC Central Committee Yang Jiechi met in Beijing with Minister for Foreign Affairs Anders Samuelsen of Denmark.
Yang Jiechi noted that in recent years, China and Denmark have enjoyed frequent and close exchanges at various levels with fruitful outcomes achieved from cooperation in politics, economy, science and technology, culture and other fields. China is willing to, together with Denmark, implement the important consensus reached by leaders of both countries, and take the 10th anniversary of the establishment of comprehensive strategic partnership as a new starting point to consolidate political mutual trust, deepen practical cooperation, and enhance multilateral coordination, so as to push China-Denmark relations for long-term and steady development as well as to jointly promote the development of China-Europe relations.
Anders Samuelsen expressed that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of Denmark-China comprehensive strategic partnership. Bilateral relations have maintained a strong development momentum. Denmark stands ready to, together with China, enhance cooperation in various fields to elevate Denmark-China relations to new stages.
