Congratulating on the signing of the deal on upgrading China-Chile FTA, President Xi Jinping stressed that this is China's first FTA upgrade completed with a Latin American country. The upgraded bilateral FTA will inject new impetus into the practical cooperation between China and Chile, set a new benchmark for China's cooperation with other Latin American countries and play a positive and exemplary role in the international arena.
