Ordinary Passport Holders from Singapore and Brunei Will Enjoy Visa-free Access to China for up to 15 Days as of July 1

In order to meet the necessity of China's economic development and opening-up process and to further boost personnel exchanges between China , Singapore and Brunei, the Chinese Government  has decided to drop the visa requirement for ordinary passport holders from Singapore and Brunei for a short stay in China, effective July 1, 2003.  As of July 1, ordinary passport holders from Singapore and Brunei will enjoy visa-free access to China for up to 15 days for business, sightseeing , visiting relatives and friends or transit. They can enter and exit from the ports that are open to foreigners.
