A: China has expressed deep concern over the issue and requested that the United States clarify its position in this regard.    

We hold that Official exchanges between the Taiwan Authorities and the United States blatantly violate the principles enshrined in the three Sino-US Joint Communiques and the commitment from the US side.The move by the United States constitutes the interference in China's internal affairs and will damage Sino-US relations and cooperation. China firmly opposes it.
