We welcome the announcement of ceasefire and the restoration of peace talks by the Government of Nepal and the anti-government forces. As a friendly neighbour of Nepal, China appreciates all efforts conducive to the restoration of peace and stability in Nepal. We believe that Nepal is capable of handling well its domestic affairs. We sincerely hope that Nepal would enjoy peace, stability and economic development.
