In accordance with China's related laws and based on the principle of reciprocity, the Chinese Embassy in the Hellenic Republic will entrust the Chinese Visa Application Service Centers to collect the ten fingerprints of all visa applicants including citizens of the Hellenic Republic and issue biometrics visas from 1 January 2020.

The biometrics visa is an international trend , and has been adopted worldwide in recent years.

Collecting biometric data is one of the technical means to improve the personal information collection from visa applicants. The other visa requirements still remain the same as before. China has spared no efforts in facilitating personnel exchanges with other countries, and welcomes foreigners around the world to visit China with all necessary visa facilitation.
