A: The evacuation of Gaza and some West Bank settlements by the Israeli side is an important step towards the solution of the Israeli-Palestinian disputes. We are pleased that the evacuation plan has been completed, and hope that the Israeli and Palestinian sides would take this as an opportunity and resume peace talks as soon as possible in line with the Roadmap for Middle East Peace.
